Dairine has been immersed in Irish dance since the age of four. Qualifying as a TCRG in 2010 and an ADCRG in 2023, she brings over three decades of lived experience to every class she teaches.

A decorated competitor, Dairine has produced 8 solo World Championship titles across both boys and girls categories, multiple solo and team provincial champions, All Ireland and international solo and freestyle title holders. Three of her former students have gone on to qualify as TCRGs in their own right — a testament to the depth of her teaching.

Beyond competition, Dairine is an accomplished choreographer and producer. In 2013 she created "Home" — a full Irish dance production telling the story of The Gathering, which sold out five consecutive nights. She served as choreographer for a Disney show in 2010, and toured extensively with Comhaltas, bringing Irish traditional arts to audiences across the world. Past pupils have gone on to perform with Lord of the Dance and other major international show companies.

Today, Dairine leads tailored Irish dance programmes in primary and secondary schools, delivers cultural sessions for international students through local English language schools, and heads Luan Academy from its HQ in Athlone — building the next generation of champions from the ground up.

Aaron discovered Irish dance under the guidance of his sister Dairine, going on to become an 11-time major champion including World Champion — a title that set the foundation for a career at the very highest level of the art form.

As a performer, Aaron has graced some of the most prestigious stages in Irish dance. A former troupe member and Dance Captain of Studio2Stage in New York City in 2014 and 2016 — at just 14 and 16 years of age — he went on to perform with Lord of the Dance and Riverdance in stadium productions worldwide, and featured across Dublin with renowned companies including Celtic Rhythm and Damhsa.

His career has taken him beyond Ireland's borders — most notably as choreographer of an original Irish dance production performed in China, leading a troupe of World Champion dancers.

As a coach and choreographer, Aaron has choreographed and trained 3 World Champions and a wealth of Globe holders and Leinster Champions. He qualified as a TCRG in 2026, bringing his competitive pedigree and international performance experience directly into the classroom at Luan Academy.
